So looks like there are early efforts, a Tizen porting Monkey to take shape. TizenExperts have a Gast Article posted by Bob Summer Will, introducing the project.
Mono is a mostly binary compatible open-source clone of Microsoft's .NET Framework which enables many. NET programs that would actually only run under Windows to get it to work under Linux or on a Mac. A Tizen porting would accordingly make many of these programs available theoretically for Tizen.
In the first step, the support for simple C # command-line tools should be ensured. Up to this part remains MonoTizen free, further development steps are to be sold and marketed as a commercial product, similar to Xamarin, The Mono implementation for Android and iOS.
Until now, MonoTizen is still in the planning phase, ie there is still no final code, etc. to try. Who is interested in this project, should in future here find more information.
