im just curious... because of my s8500 touch screen is not working..

i tried a lot of fws... i mean a lot!!! the latest was XXLA1 and still not working... some said its a hardware problem.. but if lcd is ok, and the fact that lcd and touch digitizer is considered as 1, does it mean i have to replace my working lcd because of touch screen problem?
maybe there is another option.. and i appreciate all the suggestions and ideas to fix my phone.. thanks and god bless..

unfortunately, there is no more warranty on my phone

I think, if you have to change the display or something else, it is cheaper to buy a new phone. Wave 3 für ~180 EUR new and ~120-150 used.
