The currently promoted by Samsung and Intel OS Tizen is raised in the next few weeks to version 2.1. On the developer page developer.tizen.org a link has surfaced that holds the changelog for version 2.1b ready. The b in this case stands for beta, so it is not a final release.
The changes are very comprehensive and apply to all areas to. The update contains changes and innovation to the APIs, the SDK and its tools and of course the operating system itself
Especially the APIs for native apps have been thoroughly revised and expanded. The support OpenGL also has been expanded. An important change in the WebApps is to support push notification so that application-specific messages can be received – without which the app must be running. The emulator now supports a variety of sensors that can be used in Tizen.
When the update will be available is not yet known. Details of Tizen 2.1 but it could be on the 22 held until 24 May Tizen Conference.
